Floraly Privacy Policy
Floraly is operated by XXI Systems LLC. This policy explains the information Floraly processes when you use the app.
Information Floraly processes
- Plant photos you capture or select for identification or health analysis.
- Plant and garden content, including labels, results, saved plant names, nicknames, rooms, notes, care tasks, reminders, health findings, and photo metadata.
- A Floraly user ID and session token when you sign in or enable cloud sync, plus your email address when you use an email code or Sign in with Apple shares it.
- Product-interaction analytics, including app opens, onboarding progress and answers, home views, scan starts, completions, failures and duration, and result-save events.
- Technical analytics fields including a random installation identifier, app-session identifier, event identifiers and timestamps, app version and build, platform, operating-system version, and app environment. Signed-in events may also be associated with your Floraly user ID.
Floraly does not request your name from Sign in with Apple. It does not collect location, contacts, phone number, physical address, advertising identifiers, or payment-card details.
How Floraly uses information
Floraly uses information to identify plants, provide care guidance, save and sync garden data, authenticate accounts, schedule permitted local reminders, measure feature use, diagnose failures, and improve reliability. Floraly does not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or data-broker profiling.
Photos, local storage, and cloud services
Floraly requests camera or photo access only when you choose to capture or import a plant photo and does not continuously scan your library. Selected photos may be sent over HTTPS to Floraly backend and configured plant-analysis services. Garden data can remain local. When you sign in, supported garden data and selected photos can be stored with Floraly's Supabase-backed cloud service. An active Floraly Plus entitlement can be used without a Floraly account.
First-party analytics
Floraly sends the product-interaction and technical fields described above to its Supabase-backed first-party analytics service. Analytics do not include plant-photo image data, email addresses, free-form plant notes, or advertising identifiers. Events waiting for delivery are kept on-device for no more than seven days. Server-side analytics are access-restricted and retained only as reasonably needed for product analysis, security, and reliability.
Subscriptions and service providers
Apple processes purchases through StoreKit and the App Store. Floraly reads Apple-provided product, offer-eligibility, transaction, and entitlement information but does not receive your complete payment-card information. Floraly uses Apple for authentication and purchases and Supabase for authentication, cloud storage, backend functions, and first-party analytics. Configured plant-analysis providers process selected photos and inputs only to deliver app functionality.
Retention, deletion, and choices
You can delete a Floraly account in Settings > Account > Delete Account. This removes the authentication account, synced garden/care/photo records, scoped stored photos, and local account data on that device. It also clears pending analytics and rotates the installation analytics identifier. Previously delivered analytics may remain in de-identified form after the associated Floraly user ID is removed. App Store subscriptions must be canceled separately in Apple subscription settings.
You may use Floraly Plus without a Floraly account, in which case cloud photo upload and account sync are unavailable. You can control camera, photo, and notification permissions in iOS Settings.
Children and changes
Floraly is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children for advertising or tracking. We may update this policy as Floraly changes; the effective date above identifies the latest version.
